John was born and raised in the mountains of east Tennessee. Prior to his career in land sales John was a white water rafting guide on the Ocoee river, a small business owner, and a real estate investor. He believes that his entrepreneurial spirit and love of the outdoors are what ultimately led him to the land business. With over 8 years of experience working on behalf of institutional investors, private equity funds and developers, in the acquisition, planning and disposition of their real estate assets, John has become a critical team member for many of his clients. Through his experiences, John has learned the balance a land owner must maintain between generating income from their property while simultaneously preserving value for the future sale of the asset. He has also become proficient in the staging and marketing of rural land for sale to recreational, timber investment, and retail buyers. John currently resides in Chattanooga, TN with his wife Kerri and his three daughters, Annie, Sadie and Summer.
