Internal data from Lands of America records about $10 billion in farms, ranches and other land for sale in Tennessee, which comprises about 677,000 acres of land for sale in the state. Of the 95 counties in Tennessee, Sevier County had the most land for sale. There were 1,816 acres of sold land in Tennessee recorded last month through the Lands of America sales program. This reflects a decrease in sales activity over data from the previous month. Cumberland County had the most land sales recently in the state. The Volunteer State is home to 29 major reservoirs and 19, 000 miles of warm- and cold-water streams, where anglers can wet a line for over 300 species of fish including crappie, bass, trout, and catfish.
