By overall acreage of land for sale, Tennessee ranks eighth. Recent data from Lands of America records nearly $10 billion in land and rural property for sale in the Volunteer State. This represents nearly 681,000 acres of land for sale in Tennessee. Of Tennessee's 95 counties, Sevier County had the most land and rural real estate for sale. There were 4,225 acres of sold land in Tennessee recorded in December 2018 through the Lands of America sales program. This reflects a change in sales activity over data from the previous month.
